The KPIA holds a seat on the Kentucky Board of Licensure for Private Investigators (the licensing regulatory board) and works with it to insure protection of the consumers (public or corporate) and to maintain the highest standards of our industry. We are assisting in upgrading the current licensing law, and encourage every licensed investigator to participate by joining today. Let your voice be heard, and be a part of your professional peer group
A main benefit of becoming a member of the association is for your voice to be heard in the industry. We are an integral part of how the lawmakers of Kentucky look at the industry and we sit on the Kentucky private investigator licensing board and give context and information. We need you to add value to what we represent.
Another benefit is to be part of a network of great people who combined have years of experience and know-how. Why reinvent the wheel when you can pick up the phone and call another member for advice, information, and ideas. Become a member today and be in our online Member Directory.
We are working on building up partnerships with other state associations as well as service industry professionals to provide discounts to our members such as investigator insurance, information data brokers, industry magazines, and other options for continued education.
Continued education training classes that meet the 12 hour continued education requirements is required by the Kentucky Board of Licensure for Private Investigators. Our annual conference has several classes to choose from to meet those requirements. These certificates of training are also accepted in some other states and bring value to your skill level.
We strive to stay in communication with our membership. Have a question about our association or want to see if we match your specific needs? Send us a message or give us a call. We're always happy to talk with you.
